Burgundy

Lots of winding roads and farms with pretty white cows with black butts. The hedge-rows separating the fields are called bocage (at least they are in Normandy).

 

 
There's a small town called Quarré-les-Tombes, which is named after these tombs which circle the church. There are over 100 of them and they date back to the seventh century.
